    Gala dinner in aid of the Naked Heart Foundation held at the New Wave music contest in Sochi as part of the “Don’t be silent” project.

     

    On 10 October, a charity gala dinner was held on day three of the New Wave music contest in Sochi. The event was part of the “Don’t be silent” charity project, which was launched by founder of the Naked Heart Foundation, Natalia Vodianova, singer Dima Bilan and Bilan’s producer Yana Rudkovskayawitha with a view to changing social attitudes towards people with disabilities. The closed event was held in restaurant-of-the-moment Chernomorskaya 5. The organisers gathered together famous names from the worlds of pop music, fashion and business, including Svetlana Bondarchuk, Rustam Tariko, Phillip Kirkorov, Igor Krutoi, Valeria and Iosif Prigozhin, and many others. But the guests of honour were the stars of the music video for Dima Bilan’s single “Don’t be silent” (“Ne molchi”) — 8-year-old actress Nika Kirillova, who has Down’s syndrome, and her mother, Mila. Just before the gala dinner began, Nika and Natalia Vodianova joined Dima Bilan on stage during his performance at New Wave. Holding hands, they appeared at the end of the song and performed the dance from the music video, which has already been the subject of a large-scale flashmob in support of people with disabilities. The audience gave a standing ovation, once again demonstrating people’s tremendous support for the idea behind the project — to make our society more open to people with disabilities.

     

    The “Don’t be silent” video has had a very significant impact. It has empowered a great many parents of children with special needs to take their children out in public, talk openly about the problems they face and initiate public debate about how to ensure that our society is truly open to all. Naked Heart Foundation has received letters from mothers of children with disabilities, parents’ organisations that work with children with special needs, and ordinary people who, like us, believe that remaining silent about disabilities is not a solution to the issue. The programme for the event included a gourmet dinner, an exlcusive performance by Dima Bilan and a charity auction. With the help of hosts Natalia Vodianova  and Yana Rudkovskaya, the fantastic masters of ceremonies, Ksenia Sobchak and Nikolai Baskov, — auctioned off some absolutely phenomenal lots, including the chance to appear in a new Dima Bilan video and a private figure-skating lesson from award-winning skater, Evgeni Plushenko. Both lots proved so popular that they were sold twice!

     

    The most expensive lot was a photo shoot by highly in-demand fashion photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The pair work with international stars such as Madonna, Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham and, as a rule, do not take private orders, making this lot incredibly exclusive.

    The lot was donated to Natalia Vodianova in special recognition of her long-standing friendship with the photographers. The unique opportunity was bought for $150,000.

     

    The auction raised $762,000 for the Naked Heart Foundation’s programmes. Proceeds from the sale of tickets for the gala dinner will also go towards developing services to support families raising children with special needs and building inclusive play facilities — the Foundation’s two main areas of work. The “Don’t be silent” gala dinner was supported by Lid’s Eventhouse and official Formula 1 champagne producer,

    Beauty can still save the world! It's a remedy that prolongs life and cures insipidity. And those who prefer to ride the wave among beautiful things did not miss the main event of Autumn 2015. Dedicated to benchmarks of luxury and beauty, the premier edition of Top Marques Watches & Jewellery was held from September 24-25 at the Hotel Hermitage in the heart of the Principality of Monaco.

     

    Eighteen Haute-Horology and Haute-Jewellery brands were showcased in the magnificent Belle Epoque salon, the perfect venue for such a lavish occasion. The magical sparkle of jewels combined with the stylish elements of exclusive watches to attract and tempt visitors by creating an irresistible aura of seduction.

     

    When surrounded by these impressive items that allow wearers to shine in a worthy setting, the main thing, perhaps, is not to lose all sense of reality. The show, the first of its kind to be held in Monaco, exhibited the following brands: Patek Philippe, Franck Muller, Boucheron, Fred, Montblanc, Cyrus Watches, Bell & Ross, SuisseMecanica, Kapriss, Rebellion Timepieces, Franck Dubarry, Premier, Boucheron, Akillis, HD Rare & Unique, Arpagian, Mikimoto and Elena Sivoldaeva, attracting a large number of visitors.

     

    The final event of the first day of the show revealed the highest standards of the top organisers. A further 280 guests attended a private party organised in association with the private bank, the Edmond de Rothschild Group, that provided a symbolic close.

     

    The evening event gave guests the perfect occasion to examine the watches and jewellery more closely, before watching a fashion show of Sonia Rykiel’s Autumn Collection. Because the magical sparkle of jewels can, of course, make any event more joyous and exciting.

     

    Visitors were also able to try their luck at Roulette and Black Jack during the cocktail party, thanks to a collaboration with the Casino de Monte-Carlo, a much-valued partnership at this premier edition of Top Marques Watches.

     

    The pop-up casino raised money for the Monegasque charitable association, Monaco Disease Power.

    The second Edition of Top Marques Watches & Jewellery will be held from September 29 to October 1, 2016 and will certainly be remembered as something special, with organisers proving once again that they are the best in the business. After all, dazzling luxury facets that captivate, astonish and attract definitely need to be accompanied by the brilliant shine of intelligence.

    World debut
    at 2015 MONACO YACHT SHOW

    Tankoa Yachts — the first boutique shipyard with a multi-cultural approach to yacht construction — and its global sales and marketing agent, Yacht-Ology, are particularly proud of their first yacht, the M/Y Suerte — S693 — 69.30m.

     

    The interior details of the MY/ Suerte Tankoa S693 were designed by Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with Margherita Casprini, and engineered to offer the upmost comfort.The interior is not accesse dfrom the aft deck through the usual automatic sliding door that constantly opens and closes when people are moving around the aft deck, but through lateral sliding glass doors. Guests will find themselves in a real winter garden, entirely surrounded by glass walls. Here, the atmosphere and decor offer a nice transition between outdoor space and interior space. The decor was largely inspired by Japanese houses, with plants, floor-to-ceiling windows and slate floors. The bar, with its airplane wing-shaped part, hints at the owner's taste for everything that flies. This entire area serves three functions: it can be used as a meeting/rest space flooded with natural light but still under air, as a social area with its gorgeous designer bar, or as a true reception area where the chief steward acts as a concierge. Further to the front is the main lounge, which the owner wanted to be a true family/TV room. Circulation onboard is facilitated by wide passages and the crew can perform their tasks without affecting guest privacy. The upper deck is equipped with a 16-person dining table, a lounge and two L-shaped sofas with a perfect view out to sea in its aft section protected by the overhang of the sun deck.

     

     

    The usual stainless steel balconies have been replaced by tempered glass. The front of this deck is devoted to the owner's private terrace with direct side access to his suite. He has a 6 meter-long sofa with its own built-in refrigerator and a four-person Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads. The position of this terrace offers total privacy thanks to the setback of the wheelhouse on the top deck and the lower position of the fore-pick. This outdoor space features gates which can signal to the crew that the owner wants privacy. This entire section of the boat will also be equipped with trendy carbon fiber poles and sun tents. The sun deck, aft of the top deck, is another great social area with a touch-and-go helipad large enough for a twin turbine helicopter, such as an Augusta 109, to bring guests onboard.

     

    At night, the heli-deck becomes a dance floor with lights, speakers and a DJ station. Further to the front, two sun pads allow guests to dry in the sun after using the 5-meter swimming pool with built-in bar stools for drinks at the bar at the end of the pool. The pool is also equipped with a water blade-style waterfall flowing from the superstructure. Another interesting feature is the rooftop crow’s nest where the owner and his guests will navigate. This area is accessible via an invisible ladder or a second elevator leading off from the gym. The U-shaped sofa is surmounted by a library.

     

    This and the armchairs can accommodate over 16 people who will be able to watch the latest blockbusters on the recessed 88-inche curved 4K TV screen that follows the shape of the black slate wall. Further towards the front, there is a centrally-positioned 16-person dining table and huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The partition wall on the lounge side is highlighted by a fish tank, while the fore bulkhead is a giant wine display created by Paszkowski. On the starboard side, the lateral corridor leads guests to the main lobby with its central stairwell and main elevator. From there, the rest of the main deck is devoted to guest  accommodations. Four guest cabins and a full-width zen-style VIP suite enjoy total silence, unlike most guest cabins located on the lower deck. Despite their main deck posiitons, all  cabins are flooded with natural light, thanks to oversized windows instead of conventional portholes. The decor is a mixture of washed teak, elegant piano-black lacquered details and black marble with touches of rich leather upholstery.

     

     

    The center aft portion of the deck is a panoramic lounge with a giant flat screen TV, a fireplace and a baby grand piano. The ceiling is a masterpiece with high glass skylights installed in the bottom of the swimming pool. This gives a refreshing atmosphere to the sofa zone with natural light flowing through the water.

    Tankoa is really showing the world that Italian Excellence is alive and well in the yachting industry, as well as in the fashion, sports cars and designer spheres.
